TRS Done Nothing For Development Of Hyderabad: Revanth

Hyderabad, Nov.23 (Maxim News): Congress party MP A. Revanth Reddy today made it clear that the ruling TRS party had done nothing for the development of Hyderabad. He said that the Nizams rulers of the state had taken up several development works during their rule hundreds of years back.

He alleged that the state was witnessing a destructive rule after its formation. He said that the cost of Hyderabad Metro Rail project had gone up due to the ruling TRS party. He alleged that the rulers of the state had stopped the metro rail project till Gowliguda to please their ally MIM party. He said that the Metro Rail project had sustained Rs.350 crores of losses due to the illogical decisions of the ruling party. He made these remarks while addressing the Meet the Press program held by Somajiguda Press Club.

Speaking on the occasion, he alleged that state minister KTR was misleading the people of the state through his misleading statements. He said that the claims of minister KTR that they had spent Rs.67,000 crore for the development of Hyderabad was a big lie and added that the state government had actually spent Rs.6,000 crore so far in Hyderabad. He said that some political parties of the state were trying to cheat the people. Referring to the floods in the state capital, he said that it was not a natural disaster but a manmade disaster and a failure of the TRS led state government. (Maxim News)
