TRS Indulging In Cheap, Immoral Politics To Win By-Polls: Uttam

Hyderabad, September 28: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and Nalgonda MP Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy has alleged that ruling TRS party was forcing the Congress leaders through intimidation or bribe to join TRS so as to win the Huzurnagar by-elections.

He said that the Congress leaders and workers being implicated in false cases. He said that the Election Commission must act on complaints being lodged by the Congress party and ensure conduct of elections in democratic manner.

Uttam Kumar Reddy reiterated that the Congress party would retain the Huzurnagar Assembly seat with a majority of more than 30,000 votes. He said Congress candidate Padmavathi Reddy has been serving the people of Huzurnagar since decades and people would certainly reward her with victory. However, he said TRS has only fielded a non-local candidate, but also deputed a brigade of leaders from other areas.
