TRS Leaders Slam Congress For Making Baseless Charges

Hyderabad, Aug.28 (Maxim News): TRS leaders B Suman, S Venugopala Chary and others today criticized the Congress for making vague comments on the irrigation projects in the State.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, they said the UN, Centre and other States have appreciated Telangana flagship programs, social welfare, irrigation projects and development. However, the jealousy Congress leaders were leveling false charges on the government, they said.

Talking to mediapersons here today, the TRS leaders accused the Congress men of carrying out vilification campaign against the government after visiting Tummidihatti.

They alleged that the eyes of the Congress leaders were turning red with the successful completion of the irrigation systems. They also took serious exception to the remarks being made by the heart-broken Congress leaders.

They also slammed the envious Congress leaders for simply alleging corruption charges and irregularities in the irrigation projects out of hopelessness.The Congress was saddened with the speedy execution of the projects as it will boost the image of the government.

Unable to digest growth and welfare, the Congress was trying to defame the TRS regime, they said. In spite of continuous tirade and criticism, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has completed Kaleshwaram project in a record time of three years. KCR also promised to complete Palamur-Ranga Reddy, Sitharama and other projects to turn the State green.

While the Congress and other governments failed to complete irrigation projects and swindled huge funds, the TRS leaders said the Congress attained notoriety in corruption and looting people, they alleged. The Congress should study and find facts before making baseless allegations, they added. (Maxim News)
