TRS registered 25,000 fake votes in Munugode: Tarun Chug

Hyderabad, Oct.13 (NSS): BJP State incharge Tarun Chug today alleged that the ruling TRS party had registered 25,000 fake votes in Munugodu Assembly constituency. He said they had lodged a complaint with the Election Commission on the issue.

Stating that not more than 2000 votes were registered in the by-elections held in the past in the State, he said huge number of fake votes was registered in the Munugodu by-elections.

Speaking to media persons along with the State party leader N. Ramchandra Rao, Tarun Chug said the ruling party had deputed the party MLAs and MLCs for carrying out the by-election campaigning. He said they had urged the Election Commission to transfer all the officials, who are working for the last four years in the constituency. He alleged that the ruling party leaders were running the government by bringing State ministers and secretaries.

He said they had received an assurance from the Election Commission that it would order an inquiry into the issue. He said they had also urged the EC to send Central paramilitary forces and EC observers to Munugodu. He also alleged that the Chief Minister had kept his office in Munugodu to influence the voters of the constituency. (NSS)
