Trump Big Plan To Buy Greenland: A Bumper Offer To The People

New York/Internet/Hyderabad, Jan 9 (Maxim News) After the arrest of former Venezuelan President Maduro, Trump focused more on Greenland. He intensified efforts to merge the island nation with the United States. As part of this, it seems that they are planning to buy the people of Greenland with money. There are reports in several English media outlets regarding this. According to these reports, Trump administration officials have discussed the issue of giving direct cash to the people of Greenland to leave Denmark and join the United States. Proposals have been made to give money between 10 thousand dollars and 100 thousand dollars (Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 89 lakh in Indian currency) per person.

Greenland, which has a population of just 57,000, is in the early stages of discussions about direct payments to the island. But no official decision has been made, it is reported. Greenland’s leaders have also rejected the US cash payment plans. Greenland Prime Minister Jens Frederik Nielsen said that foreign countries cannot decide the future of their territory. On the other hand, NATO countries are also expressing concern over Trump’s plan.

On the other hand, Trump says he has nothing to do with international law. When asked in an interview whether there are any limits on global powers, Trump responded. He commented that the only limit on the power to order military action around the world is one’s own morality. He said he has nothing to do with international law. He said he can’t stand to see people suffer. (Maxim News)
