TS Corona Update: 635 Fresh Cases, 4 Deaths Reported
The state Health Department informed the coronavirus count in Telangana has increased to 2,77,151 including 2,67,992 discharges
Telangana recorded 635 fresh positive cases and four deaths until 8 pm on Saturday taking the total number of cases to 2,77,151 while the death toll to 1,409. The recoveries went up to 2,67,992 with 565 fresh recoveries in a single day. At present, there are 7,670 active cases out of which 5,557 are in home or institutional isolation.
Between Thursday and Friday, around 52,308 samples were tested including 23,015 on primary contacts and 6,276 on secondary contacts. However, the results of 635 came positive and the reports of 607 are awaited. So far, 60,81,517 tests have been conducted in the state.
The positive cases reported across the state include 141 from GHMC, 76 from Rangareddy, 72 from Mechal Malkajgiri, 39 from Karimnagar, 36 from Khammam, 35 from Warangal Urban, 25 from Nalgonda, 24 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 17 from Peddapalli, 14 each from Sangareddy and Mancherial, 12 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 11 each from Mulugu and Jagtial, 10 from Mahabubnagar, 9 each from Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Medak, 8 each from Suryapet, Nizamabad, 7 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 6 each from Adilabad, Vikarabad, Yadadri Bhongir and Rajanna Sircilla, 5 from Siddipet and Nagarkurnool, 4 each from Warangal Rural, Nirmal, Jogulamba Gadwal and Nirmal, one from Kamareddy and zero cases from Narayanpet.
