TS Hajj Committee gearsup for Haj Season 2017

Hyderabad, Dec 29 (Maxim News): The Haj Application Forms will be issued and accepted from January 2 to 24 January 2017.

Speaking to scribes here on Thursday Prof. S. A. Shukoor, Special Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee, Indian Muslim Citizens belonging to Telangana State, who possess valid Indian Passport (Valid at least up to 28th February 2018) can submit their Haj Application Forms.

Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Deputy Chief Minister, will release the First Haj Application Form on 2 January at Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad. Ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs and other dignitaries will participate in the Function.

Online Application:

The Haj Application Forms can be filled and submitted online at www.hajcommittee.gov.in. or through android mobile app “Haj Committee Of India” available on Playstore, Prof. Shukoor, said.

The Haj Pilgrims have to submit the Haj Application Form along with supporting documents such as Passport copies, Address Proof (Ration Card, Driving License, Electricity bill, Telephone Landline Bill, Water Bill, Gas Connection, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Solemn Declarations, Cancel Bank Cheque, Pay-in-Slip of Rs. 300/- each (Amount to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India or at any branch of Union Bank of India) to the State Haj Committee on Or before 24th January 2017.

Maximum (5) Adults and (2) Infants (Born on or after October 11, 2015) can apply in one cover only, he added.

Reserved Categories pilgrims have to submit their Original International Passport along with Haj Application Form. Extended date for submission of passport for NRI is 5th July 2017, he said.

The Mehram can be changed in the case of death or on the health grounds, If any applicant is found to have filed Haj Application Forms from two states, his/her amount will be forfeited, he further added. (Maxim News)
