Turning Point In The Phone Tapping Case: Two More Officials Sent To Judicial Remand

Hyderabad, March 24 (Maxim News): The phone tapping case which has become a sensation in the Telugu States is taking a turning point. The main accused in this case D. Praneeth Rao who served as Special Intelligence branch (SIB) DSP has been suspended and two other senior police officers have been arrested. Police arrested SP Bhujanga Rao and DCP Tirupathanna along with Praneeth and produced the three at Nampally Judge’s residence today (Sunday).

The Nampally Court remanded the accused to 14 days judicial remand.  Moreover, in the same case, a lookout notice was recently issued to the MD of a news channel.

To this extent, the Hyderabad Police have detained Bhupalpally Additional SP Bhujanga Rao and Hyderabad City Security Department Additional DCP Thirupatanna. After interrogating both of them at Banjara Hills Police Station, they were arrested overnight. Today, when they were produced before the Magistrate, more sensational things came out, former SIB Chief Prabhakar Rao, former Hyderabad Task Force DCP Radhakishan Rao and A News Media Manager Shravan Rao Aruvela have already been found to be involved in this affair.

As it was revealed that these three have already crossed the country, a look out circular was issued.  Police seized two laptops, four tabs, five pen drives and one hard disk from Bhujangarao and Tirupatanna. (Maxim News)
