Delhi/Hyderabad, june 22 (Maxim News): The Union government has extended the tenure of Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta for another three years. This will come into effect from July 1.
The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has approved the extension of five additional Solicitor Generals in the Supreme Court along with Tushar Mehtra for another three years. While the tenure of Vikramjit banerjee and KM nataraj will come into effect from July 1, the tenure of Suryaprakash, V.Raju, N.Venkataraman and Aishwarya Bhati will come into effect from June 30. The government has reappointed Chetan Sharma as Additional Solicitor General of the Delhi High Court for another six months. (Maxim News)
