Ibrahim Azizi, Chairman of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, made strong comments on this. “You threaten. We will take action. The Strait of Hormuz is not your casino. Also, it is not a pirate’s backyard. Any decision made on that strait is in the hands of the Iranian people and forces,”Ibrahim clarified on the ‘X’ platform.
Iran has announced that it is closing the Strait of Hormuz again, ignoring the terms of the agreement and US warnings, in response to Israeli attacks on lebanon – Trump was angered by this. he warned that if a final agreement with iran is not reached within 60 days, he will impose a toll on the Strait. he also revealed that the money will be taken for the defense services provided by the US to the countries of West Asia.
The warnings have slowed shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. Just 12 ships passed through the Strait on Sunday, down from 35 the day before, according to maritime tracking data company Windward. Some of them were reported to have turned off their automatic identification systems. (Maxim News)
