Delhi/Hyderabad, April 2 (Maxim News): Two gram panchayats in the state have been selected for the ‘Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Panchayat Satat Vikas Purasar (DDUPSVP) -2025. Motukupally GP of Kotepalle mandal of Vikarabad district has won the award in the ‘Good Governance’ category. It has been recognized for its excellence in transparent governance, public participation and development. Fasalwadi gram panchayat of Sangareddy mandal of Sangareddy district has been selected in the ‘Women Friendly Panchayat’ category.
This award was given for the efforts shown in implementing women empowerment, safety and welfare programs. The Center is presenting these awards to recognize the panchayats that are at the forefront in achieving rural development goals across the country. Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Dhanasari Anasuya Sitaka expressed happiness over Telangana receiving the awards. (Maxim News)
