Going into details… Gyanashree (21), daughter of Chennakeshavulu from Chatrai area of Eluru district in AP, is studying B.Tech in the third year at Mallareddy Engineering College. She is staying in the women’s hostel in Maisammaguda. On March 31, Chennakeshavulu died of illness and then went to her hometown to attend the funeral. She came to the college two days ago after all the programs were over. Gyanashree, who wrote the exam in the college on Wednesday, stayed in the hostel without appearing for the exam on Thursday.
She hanged herself in her hostel room at around 3 pm. Her friends, who noticed this, immediately informed the police. The police, who went to the scene and examined it, noticed a suicide note in Gyanashree’s hand. It read, “Mommy.. I can’t imagine life without Daddy. Brother, you keep him with grandfather. I am going to Daddy’s.” Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and are investigating. The body has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. (Maxim News)
