Union Home Ministry Issues Advisory For Hanuman Jayanthi

Union Home Ministry | Hyderabad, April 5 (Maxim News): The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an advisory to all states to maintain law and order in view of Hanuman Jayanthi which will be held on Thursday, April 6 across the country.

On the occasion of Sri Ram Navami, the Center has advised being on alert as violent incidents have taken place in several states including Bihar and West Bengal. The Union Home Ministry disclosed this on Twitter.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued guidelines to all the states for Hanuman Jayanti arrangements. The state governments should ensure that the festival is peaceful. At that time peace and security should be maintained. The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked all the states to continuously monitor the threat of disturbing religious harmony in society.

On the eve of the Sri Ram Navami celebrations, there was intense tension in West Bengal. Keeping these incidents in mind, the Kolkata High Court made important comments. It directed the state government to take the help of central forces to monitor peace and security during the Hanuman Jayanti celebrations.

On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi, CPDS Chauhan has issued orders to close liquor shops in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. Liquor shops will remain closed from 6 am on April 6 to 6 am on April 7, the CP orders said. He warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who violates the rules. (Maxim News)
