Hyderabad, July 27: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has invited applications for admission to its five year Bachelor of Optometry (B Optometry) programme for the 2026–27 academic year. Admissions will be based on NEET UG 2026 scores.
According to the university, candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 are eligible to apply for the programme. Admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of merit and the prescribed eligibility criteria.
The university has advised applicants to refer to the official 2026–27 prospectus for detailed information on eligibility, course structure, fee details, seat matrix and reservation policy.
Application forms and admission guidelines are available on the University’s academic portal and official website http://www.uohyd.ac.in.
The last date to submit online applications is August 7.
The University of Hyderabad will publish the provisional selection list and waiting list on August 12.
Selected candidates must report for physical counselling, document verification and admission formalities on August 21.
