Karimnagar/Hyderabad, July 19 (Maxim News): Minister for Irrigation, N.Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Telangana government which has already waived off Rs. 1 lakh loan to the farmers, is preparing to issue new ration cards, to this extent, he said that new ration cards will be issued soon. he said that ration cards and health cards would be given separately.
At the V.Convention in Karimnagar, Uttam participated in the Opinion-gathering program with the farmers of the joint district on the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He spoke on this occasion, and he said that for the past ten year, irrigation projects have been built for commission purposes, not for water, the Kaleshwaram project was the biggest mistake. He alleged that after spending Rs. 93 thousand crores, water was not given to even one lakh acres additionally. He said that everything that the previous BRS government said about Kaleswaram was a miscalculation. The adviser of the Central Water Resources Department also said with evidence before the PC Ghosh Commission that Kaleshwaram is a grave mistake. (Maxim News)
