Vasavi Club of Buddhapurnima organized #GoVote, a vote awareness drive

Hyderabad: Vasavi Club of Buddhapurnima, a primary unit of Vasavi Clubs International, on Sunday organized a unique program called #GoVote, a voter awareness program to encourage more people to go out and vote on 13th May, the day of Polling during the 4th phase.

In a 5th Regular Meeting held at Hotel Parklane, in Parklane in Secunderabad, Vasavi Club of Buddhapurnima organized Electorate Awareness against the backdrop of the forthcoming general elections.

Despite the best efforts by the Election Commission of India as well as many agencies, and NGOs, still many urban voters are taking Poll Day as a Holiday and skipping voting.  We at the Vasavi Club of Buddapurnima wanted to do our bit. That is why we organized the #GoVote Voter Awareness Drive, said Proddaturu Veerabhadrudu, President of the Vasavi Club of Buddha Purnima.

The club also felicitated Mothers on the eve of the forthcoming Mother’s Day
