Venkat Reddy vows to remain in Congress till his last breath

Hyderabad, Oct.13 (NSS): Congress party MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today made it clear that he would remain in the party till his death.

Addressing a gathering at Gundala today, Komatireddy Venkat said he had given a word to the party president Sonia Gandhi that he would remain in the party following her promise to create separate Telangana State. He made it clear that he wanted a party post and not a post of the Chief Minister or minister of the State.

The Congress MP continued to create confusion among the party leaders by not turning up for the campaign in the upcoming by-election in Munugodu Assembly constituency. It is learnt that he would stay away from the election campaign as his younger brother was contesting from the constituency as BJP candidate. (NSS)
