Venkataramana Reddy Challenges Shabbir Ali

Kamareddy, Feb. 23 (Maxim News): BJP MLA Venkataramana Reddy has thrown an open challenge to Congress leader Shabbir Ali over the degree college lands issue. He said he would resign from his MLA post if corruption is proved against him with evidence.

On Saturday, Venkataramana Reddy met the Kamareddy Collector and sought complete details of the degree college lands. He demanded that all facts be made public. Moreover, he said transparency would clear the doubts being raised.

Speaking to the media, the MLA alleged that Shabbir Ali was trying to provoke people for political gain. He accused the Congress party of spreading misleading claims for political mileage.

Therefore, he clarified that he had already sought information about the college lands through RTI from the government.

He further stated that if even one square yard of land irregularity is proven against him, he is ready to step down immediately.

However, he added that he has remained patient to ensure that law and order is maintained in Kamareddy.

In addition, he questioned why BJP state leaders trying to meet him were being stopped by police, while Congress leaders were not being restrained.

He expressed confidence that the truth about the college land issue would soon come out. (Maxim News)
