Vice President Greets India on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr

Vice President | New Delhi: The Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, greeted the nation on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Following is the full text of his message:

“I express my heartfelt greetings and good wishes to the nation on this joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Marking the end of the holy month of Ramzan, Eid-ul-Fitr is an auspicious occasion to come together for celebration and to share our happiness with one another.

As we mark this day with joy and gratitude, let us remember the values of compassion, generosity and unity that are at the heart of this festival. Let us continue to build bridges of solidarity, and rededicate ourselves to the service of humanity.”

Following is the Hindi translation of his message:

“ईद-उल-फितर के इस खुशी के मौके पर मैं देशवासियों को हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं देता हूं।

रमज़ान के पवित्र महीने के अंत में मनाया जाने वाला ईद-उल-फितर का त्यौहार आपस में खुशियाँ साझा करने का एक शुभ अवसर है। सभी लोग इसे मिलजुल कर बड़े हर्ष और उल्लास के साथ मनाते हैं।

आइए इस पर्व में निहित मानवीय मूल्यों – करुणा, उदारता और भाईचारे को अपने जीवन में साकार करते हुए मानवता की सेवा के लिए खुद को समर्पित करने का संकल्प लें।“
