Villagers Pour Petrol On A Young Man And Set Him On Fire In Medak

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (Maxim News): A brutal incident took place in medak district. Villagers tied a thief to a tree on the pretext of stealing bikes, poured petrol on him and set him on fire. The victim is on the verge of death with 90 percent burns in this incident.

According to police details, a brutal incident took place in Vadiyara village of Chegunta mandal in Medak district. It caused great concern when villagers poured petrol on one of two youths who were trying to steal a bike and set it on fire.

Mahipal and Yavan, two youths from Jangarai village in Chinnashankarampet mandal, make a living by stealing parked bikes and selling them in the market. In this process, they stole a bike in Vadodara village on Friday night. While committing the theft, they brought a bottle of petrol with them, thinking that they would need it.

However, since there was no petrol in the stolen bike, they planned to take it to a deserted area and fill the cart with petrol. As expected, they pushed the cart some distance away. At the same time, the youths who were going to the Durga mata immersion festival identified the accused who had stolen the bike. When the youths tried to attack them. Mahipal escaped. They tied Yavan to a pole. They took the petrol from his pocket and set him on fire. Yavan suffered serious injuries with 90 percent burns. After receiving information about the incident, the police rushed the victim to Gandhi Hospital. His condition is reported to be critical.

The police registered a case and detained Mahipal. The police will take strict action against the villagers who resorted to atrocities against yavan. (Maxim News)
