Visit of NCC Cadets of Units of NCC Group Hyderabad to AOC Centre

Secunderabad, 25 Aug 2023: The Annual Training Camp serves as a platform for young cadets to come together and engage in a comprehensive training programme that focuses on physical fitness, character building, social awareness and also focus on career building options.  

The cadets of units of NCC Group Hyderabad were lucky to be visiting AOC Centre, Secunderabad during the ongoing Annual Training Camp on 25 August 2023.  The cadets were addressed by Brig AA Deshpande, Commandant, AOC Centre. The motivational talk left the cadets in awe.   

An interactive session on ‘Agniveer’ scheme was conducted by Col Laxman Ojha and Lt Col Vishnugopan.  Amongst the various activities organized for the cadets were a visit to the War Memorial & Simulator rooms, Demonstration of Drill and PT.  Cadet liked the demonstration of Obstacle Course the most.  Lastly cadets interacted with Instructors and staff of AOC Centre over a cup of tea.

The cadets were immensely benefitted from this visit. It’s the dream of every NCC cadet to join Armed Forces and contribute in Nation building.  Towards the end Col Anil Kumar, Group Cdr, Hyderabad Group thanked Brig AA Deshpande and all ranks of AOC Centre for organizing this visit so well and exchanged mementoes for memories forever.
