Waqf Registration Training Workshop Held In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct. 25: A Waqf registration training workshop was organised by Syed Ali Akbar Nizamuddin Hussaini Sabri, President of the Association of Telangana Sajjadanasheen, Mutawallis and Kidmat Guzaran of Waqf, at Dargah Shah Khamosh (RH), Nampally.

The session focused on helping Waqf mutawallis understand the online document uploading process and registration procedures.

The training was conducted by Waqf staff Abdur Rahman, Yousuf Pasha, Mohd Ghouse and Mohd Samad who had earlier received training from the Umeed Portal staff of the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

The Umeed Portal has been introduced to simplify the documentation and management process of Waqf properties across India. During the event, the trained waqf staff shared their knowledge and practical insights with the mutawallis attending the workshop.

A large number of mutawallis took part in the workshop, showing keen interest in learning how to upload required documents through the portal.

The participants actively interacted throughout the session, seeking clarity on various procedural matters.

Syed Ali Akbar Nizamuddin personally moderated the workshop, ensuring that every participant’s query was addressed effectively. His leadership helped maintain focus on the key objective of strengthening the transparency and efficiency of Waqf management.

During the discussion, the mutawallis raised several questions, mainly related to registration procedures and technical aspects of the portal.

The Waqf Board officials promptly replied to all doubts and provided step-by-step guidance. The open dialogue created a collaborative learning atmosphere, reflecting the growing commitment among mutawallis to streamline administrative processes and ensure proper upkeep of Waqf assets.

The workshop concluded with appreciation for the initiative, which aims to bridge the knowledge gap between Waqf officials and mutawallis.
