War of words between Telangana Congress leaders

Hyderabad, July 3: A war of words took place between Telangana Congress leaders over the Telangana tour of Yashwant Sinha, Opposition candidate for Presidential Polls.

The TPCC passed a resolution declaring that Congress leaders will not welcome Yashwant Sinha. In defiance of this decision, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao travelled to Begumpet airport and met Sinha.

With this, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy fired out at VH. Revanth warned that he would not spare anyone, who goes against party decisions. Leaders who violate party rules, will be thrashed to the wall, he said.

Meanwhile, party senior leader and MLA Jagga Reddy reacted over Revanth’s comments on VH. He expressed anger and questioned, what wrong VH did? He clarified that there was nothing wrong in going to the airport. He even reminded that Rahul Gandhi was there when Yashwant Sinha was filing nomination for Presidential elections.

Jagga Reddy questioned when Rahul had no objection, why would Revanth? He wondered VH met Yashwant at the airport, not at Chief Minister KCR’s house. “Who is Revanth to dictate us not to meet Sinha? Are we his servants?” he asked.

Jagga Reddy demanded that Revanth should render apology to VH for making rude comments against a senior leader.
