WATCH | Asaduddin Owaisi Distributes 401 Sewing Machines To Women In Yakutpura
Hyderabad, Feb 23 (Maxim News): AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi has distributed 401 sewing machines worth Rs. 19.5 lakhs trained in 5 centers in the old city particularly in Yakutpura Assembly Constituency who got trained for 3 months and submitted their record. He expressed satisfaction that this initiative will help women belonging to the poor family with their economic development.
He also assured that every year two batches will conducted and those who qualified successfully in training will be provided the sewing machine. He also said such more centers will be opened in various fields in the coming days, these skill development centers will be more useful in empowering women.
The Sewing Machines Distribution Program was successfully organized at Sayeed Villa Function Hall in the Rein Bazar Division of the Yakutpura Assembly Constituency, aiming to promote women’s empowerment through skill development. The event was led by Asaduddin Owaisi, along with Yakutpura MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj and local corporators. Sewing machines were distributed to candidates who completed their training and examinations at the Sewing Centre Camp, a key initiative focused on enhancing women’s skills and self-reliance.
This program is expected to provide employment opportunities for women, enabling them to earn a livelihood and contribute to their households through tailoring and related activities.
Leaders at the event emphasized the importance of empowering women through practical skill development, highlighting that such initiatives can lead to greater financial independence and community growth. (Maxim News)
