WATCH | Drunk Couple Creates A Ruckus With A Beer Bottle In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A drunk couple got into an altercation with morning walkers over-stopping their vehicle on 100 Feet Road at 6.30 am on Thursday. The dispute began when the morning walkers, mainly comprising senior citizens, confronted the couple for smoking and drinking beer on the road.

“I was shocked and appalled by their behavior. She was blowing cigarette smoke into a walker’s face,” said M. Ramesh Rao, a 68-year-old morning walker.

The man in the video was identified as Alex Bodi Cherla 25, a resident of Peerzadiguda, while the woman remained unidentified. “We have registered a case against them and started an investigation,” said Nagole inspector P. Parashu Ram. “They obstructed and abused senior citizens who were out for their morning walk, leading to public outrage.”

A video of the incident was widely shared on social media. In a video, the couple is seen holding bottles in one hand and a cigarette in another hand. They reportedly stopped their car in the middle of the road, causing a nuisance. The situation escalated after the woman used filthy language. “We come here for peace and exercise, not to face such disrespect and abuse,” Ramesh Rao added.

After the brief altercation, the couple drove away even as some of the morning walkers were talking to them.
