The protest took place within the Assembly premises, where BRS MLAs and MLCs gathered in large numbers. They held placards and raised slogans against the government. They demanded that the pending fee reimbursement amount, said to be around Rs 12,000 crore, be released without delay. According to them, the delay is affecting students from weaker sections.

Meanwhile, Opposition leader in the Legislative Council, Madhusudhanachari, strongly criticised the government. He said the Revanth Reddy government is playing with the lives of all sections of people and is now pushing students into uncertainty. He expressed concern that delays in fee reimbursement are forcing many SC, ST, and BC students to stay away from higher education.

BRS leaders also highlighted the importance of the fee reimbursement scheme. They recalled that the scheme was started during the tenure of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and was later strengthened by the KCR government. They said the scheme helped many students pursue higher education and improve their future prospects.

However, the leaders alleged that the current government lacks commitment towards poor students. They warned that if the pending dues are not cleared immediately, protests will intensify across the state. Several BRS public representatives participated in the protest and raised slogans against the government.
