WATCH | “Take One Hour…”: Asaduddin Owaisi Reacts On BJP MP 15 Seconds Remark
Hyderabad, May 9: In response to BJP MP Navneet Rana’s comments, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that ‘Not only 15 seconds but take 1 hour. We are not afraid, we also want to see what you can do. They perceive all Muslims in India as Pakistanis, but we will defeat the RSS ideology.’
Navneet Rana, the sitting MP from Maharashtra’s Amravati and the BJP’s candidate for the Lok Sabha Elections from the constituency sparked controversy with a statement echoing Akbaruddin Owaisi’s 2013 remark. Rana referenced Owaisi’s remarks from AIMIM where he suggested, ‘Remove police for 15 minutes and Muslims would demonstrate their power over 100 crore Hindus.’
Rana countered, stating, “…The younger brother (Akbaruddin Owaisi) says “Police ko 15 minute hata do toh hum dikhayenge ki hum kya kar sakte hain.” I would like to tell him, it took you 15 minutes, it will take us just 15 seconds – if you remove Police for 15 seconds, you will not be able to understand kahan se aaya aur kahan ko gaya…It will take us just 15 seconds…”
