We Will Give Subsidy to Solar Plant Users: Jagadish Reddy

Hyderabad, Oct.8 (Maxim News): Energy Minister G. Jagadish Reddy today said that they would give subsidy of 20 percent to those who set upto 3 kw solar plants in their houses. He also said that the subsidy amount would apply for up to of 10 kw .

He made these remarks while replying to questions raised by the MLAs of the State in Assembly during question hour on the issue of solar and wind power in Telangana .

Speaking on the occasion he said that they would give the subsidy from one kilo watt to one mega watt solar plants.

Reddy said that the authorities of NTPC had agreed to provide 2090 mw by the year 2023. He said that the state would have another 290 mw of power from other sources. (Maxim News)
