Woman Brutally Murdered in Zaheerabad; Attackers Still at Large

Sangareddy/Hyderabad, March 30 (Maxim News): A 47-year-old woman was brutally murdered by unidentified assailants at her rented house in Pasthapur village near Zaheerabad on Sunday.

The attackers threw chilli powder into her eyes before beating her to death with a small LPG cylinder. The victim has been identified as Methai Lakshmi (47), a native of Cheelamamidi in Jharasangam mandal.

Background & Police Investigation

Lakshmi, who had migrated to Zaheerabad a few years ago, was living with her only son and worked as a daily wage laborer to support her family.

Upon receiving information from locals, the police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to the government hospital in Zaheerabad for postmortem.

A police investigation is underway, and efforts are being made to identify and apprehend the culprits. (Maxim News)
