Woman Fitness Trainer Killed In Road Accident Near Sangareddy

Hyderabad: A woman fitness trainer was killed in a road accident near Sangareddy after an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus hit her two wheeler near the BHEL bus depot in Ramachandrapuram. The incident occurred on Sunday and led to her death on the spot due to severe head injuries.

The victim was identified as Umamaheshwari, aged 26. She was working as a gym trainer at a private gym located in Beeramguda. According to police, the APSRTC bus hit her two wheeler, following which she fell on the road and suffered serious injuries. She reportedly bled profusely and died at the scene before help could arrive.

Soon after the incident, police reached the spot and began preliminary inquiries. They registered a case in connection with the road accident and launched an investigation to establish the sequence of events. Officials said they were examining the circumstances under which the APSRTC bus hit the two wheeler near the busy bus depot area.

Meanwhile, the body of the woman fitness trainer was shifted to the government hospital in Patancheru for postmortem examination. Police said the postmortem report would help confirm the cause of death and support further investigation. The police are also expected to collect statements from witnesses present at the location.

The road near the BHEL bus depot in Ramachandrapuram witnesses regular traffic movement. Accidents have been reported earlier in the area due to heavy vehicle flow. However, police have not yet shared further details about the speed of the bus or other contributing factors. They stated that all aspects would be verified as part of the investigation.

Later, police reiterated that legal procedures would be followed based on evidence collected. They added that action would be taken as per law after completing the investigation. Meanwhile, the death of the young gym trainer has caused shock among those who knew her, especially in the Beeramguda area where she worked.

The case remains under investigation, and further details are awaited from the police.
