Hyderabad: A homemaker was murdered allegedly by her husband at SR Nagar on Monday. According to the police, Rani was married to Sanjeev and the couple lived along with their children at their house at Sultan Nagar in the SR Nagar police station limits. Sanjeev works as a driver at the TB Hospital.
On Sunday night, the couple had a quarrel over some family issue. The children were not there as Sanjeev had sent them to a relative’s house a day before. On Monday morning, when a relative of the woman called her over phone, she did not answer. He then rushed to her house and found her lying in a pool of blood. Locals told the police that the couple had regular quarrels.
Police suspect the woman was killed by Sanjeev who later fled the place after bolting the door from outside. The body has been shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary. A case had been registered and efforts are on to nab Sanjeev.
