‘You Can Make Yourself Smarter With Hard Work’
Hyderabad, June 25 (Maxim News): ‘Intelligence isn’t just something you’re born with; you can make yourself smarter with a little bit of hard work’, observed Kranth Patnaik of Dhyanahita School of Professional Studies. He interacted with B.Tech first year students of School of Technology, GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad on Tuesday. Being a part of five-day first year B.Tech Orientation Program, he delivered a talk on ‘Career Orientation & Skill Enhancement’.
Kranth Patnaik has stressed three points to lead a successful life that one can always be smart, smile and simple. ‘To be smart-creative tasks, develop your people skills, learn as much as you can about as much as you can, and continually strive to broaden your horizons by keeping an open mind and stepping outside your comfort zone’, he advised.
‘A smile puts you on the right track. A smile makes the world a beautiful place. When you lose your smile, you lose your way in the chaos of life’, he enlightened. As ‘simple’ is that the person is uncomplicated— no drama, no serious psychological aberrations, what-you-see-is-what-you-get,’ he said. ‘The more you fall, the more you can fly. Before you want to achieve something, go for it. Don’t lose the hope at any point of time’ Kranth Patnaik exhorted the budding engineers.
Earlier, Prof. Y. Lakshma Kumar, Dean & Director, GITAM Hyderabad Business School, explained about the updated curriculum of GITAM, state-of-the-art infra, excellent faculty pool etc. He appealed to budding engineers to make use of the facilities in the coming four years to get bright future. HoDs of various engineering and basic science departments also interacted with first year students. (Maxim News)
