Youth Caught With Drugs At Balanagar, Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May 28 (Maxim News): The Excise Department Special Task Force caught one youth on charges of drug peddling and seized 19 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of marijuana, and cash of Rs. 60,000 from him at Balanagar on Tuesday night.
Officials said Kiran Kumar, who was a drug consumer himself, procured the narcotic substances from Santosh Jadhav, a local drug dealer operating from Goa.
He bought them at a lower rate and smuggled them in private buses and cars into Hyderabad and sold them to consumers at higher rates here.
Following a tip-off, Kiran was nabbed and drugs seized. Efforts are underway to identify the source of the drug. Officials said. (Maxim News)
