YSRCP releases Four Rajya Sabha candidates list

Vijayawada, May 17 (Maxim News): The ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) today announced the names of four candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from the state . The seats are going to fall vacant in June this year. The names of MP V Vijayasai Reddy, Industrialist Beeda Masthan Rao, senior advocate S Niranjan Reddy and BC leader R Krishnaiah. The ruling party is likely to bag all the four seats basing on its strength in the state Assembly. The Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have said that the four candidates would be the contestants of the party in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. .

Speaking on the occasion, Jagan said that they had nominated R. Krishnaiah and Beeda Masthan Rao under the Backward Caste category in order to do social justice . Interestingly, R. Krishnaiah and Advocate S. Niranjan Reddy belonged to neighbouring Telangana state While the two other candidates V. Vijaya sai Reddy and Beeda Masthan Rao belonged to the state .

The party leader V Vijaysai Reddy, who is already the sitting Rajya Sabha MP of the party got the second chance in recognition of his dedicated services to the party. A chartered accountant by profession, Reddy was born on July 1, 1957 in Thallapudi of Nellore district. Beeda Masthan Rao is Former MLA from Kavali. He was July 2,1958.

S Niranjana Reddy is a senior advocate of Supreme Court and Telangana high court . He hails from Nirmal district of the Telangana state . He was Born on 22 July 1970.

R. Krishnaiah is a former MLA. He is the President of the National BC Association. He was born on September 13, 1954 at Ralladugupalli in Moinpeta Mandal in Vikarabad district of Telangana. (Maxim News)
