Hyderabad, April 18: Zilla and Mandal Parishad elections voter mapping ordered by the State Election Commission has set the stage for upcoming local body polls in Telangana. Officials have been directed to begin the process immediately using the latest voter data.
The State Election Commission instructed district authorities to map voters in Gram Panchayat wards. The exercise will rely on voter list data released by the Election Commission dated February 5, 2026.
SEC Secretary Lingyanayak asked ZP CEOs, DPOs and MPDOs to complete the task quickly. Accordingly, officials must prepare mandal wise lists and align them with ward level rolls.
