MoU Between Dept of Microbiology and Sri BioAesthetics at Osmania University

MoU | Hyderabad, April 10 (Maxim News): MoU was signed today between the Department of Microbiology, Osmania University, Hyderabad, and Sri BioAesthetics (SRIBIO) Private Limited, Sultanpur, Telangana.

SRIBIO is a nationally recognized industry engaged in the research and development of microbial products catering to the needs of agriculture, aquaculture, nutraceuticals, biostimulants, etc.

The Department of Microbiology at OU, Established in 1974, is one of the prominent contributors in the field of life science research and academics and receives extramural grants from National funding agencies and Industrial collaborations.

Faculty at the Department have developed valid prototypes of microbial products and patents for technology transfer and are working with the academia-industry outlook for translational research.

Vice Chancellor Prof D Ravinder, the Registrar, Prof P Lakshminarayana, MoU chairman Prof G B Reddy, PRO Prof Patrick, Head, Department of Microbiology, Prof. Sandeepta Burgula, Chairperson-Board of Studies, Dr. Hameeda Bee and Deputy Registrar, Academics Ms. MV Sharradha. Managing Director Dr. KRK Reddy and Director, Ms. K. Sri Varshita represented Sri BioAesthetics during the MoU signing.

The MoU signed between the University and SRIBIO will help Osmania University students with internships, scholarships, training for skill development, and capacity building which will greatly enhance employability. Dr. K R K Reddy assured his support to OU in terms of providing funding and logistics for research and development at the Department of Microbiology, OU.

Prof D Ravinder remarked that this MoU will be useful for collaborative high-end research work and such public-private partnerships can take forward the products developed at the Lab to benefit society. (Maxim News)
