Another Setback To Manish Sisodia In The Delhi Liquor Scam

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): Aam aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia has been dealt a blow in the case of Delhi Liquor Scam (Delhi excise Policy 2021-22) once again in Delhi Rouse Avenue District Court.

The court today rejected the bail petition of Sisodia in a money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate.

On behalf of the ED Zoheb Hossain and Dayan Krishnan on behalf of Sisodia heard arguments. Rouse Avenue Court Special Judge MK Nagpal refused to grant bail to Sisodia.

It is known that CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation ) and ED have registered cases of corruption and irregularities in the design and implementation of Delhi’s Liquor Policy. Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 and the ED on March 9. He is presently in Jail, he has been questioned several times by CBI and ED. (Maxim News)
