Manish Sisodia’s Custody In The Delhi Liquor Scam Extended

Delhi/Hyderabad, May 23 (Maxim News) The Rouse Avenue Court has once again extended the former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s custody in the Delhi Liquor Scam case. It has been clarified that he should remain in judicial custody till June 1. However, the court ordered the jail authorities to provide him a chair, table and books in the jail.

KAJRIWAL ACCUSED POLICE OF MISBEHAVING WITH MANISH SISODIA

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders have accused the police of misbehaving with former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was arrested in a Delhi Liquor Scam case. AAP posted a video of Sisodia being taken away by the police in a Delhi court and was furious with the central government.

In a money laundering case related to the Delhi Liquor Scam, the Delhi Police produced Sisodia in court today, while Sisodia was being brought out of the courtroom, he was suddenly surrounded by media representatives. Kejriwal said the police who were following Sisodia pushed the media representatives aside. After that he put his hand around Sisodia’s neck and forcibly locked him from there. The same video went viral after AAP leaders posted it on social media.

It may be recalled that the Center brought the Ordinance to block the recent verdict given by the Supreme Court that the control over the appointments and transfers of government employees in Delhi rests with the state government. When the media representatives asked Sisodia about this ordinance ” Modiji has become very arrogant. ” He has no faith in democracy, replied Sisodia.

Kejriwal alleged that a police officer misbehaved with Sisodia at Rouse Avenue Court. He should be suspended immediately, demanded Delhi Minister Atishi. Kejriwal responded to this video. has the question “Does the police have the authority to misbehave with Manish ji like this? Or is someone ordering the police to do this?” kejriwal indirectly lashed out at the Centre.

Delhi Police denied the allegations of AAP leaders. “The police acted as part of providing security to sisodia. It is against the law for the accused to give statements to the media. “the Delhi Police Department tweeted. (Maxim News)
