Fisheries Dept plans To Include Fish Curry As Part Of The Midday Meal For Student

Hyderabad, July 19 (Maxim News): The Department of Fisheries is planning to include fish curry as part of midday meals for students studying in government schools.

Matsya Federation is working in this regard, how many students are there? The officials are calculating how many days fish curry should be served to them, how many grams each person needs, how much fish will be needed by all the children, and how to raise funds for this. A full report will be submitted to the government upon completion of this exercise. After that, action is expected to be taken in accordance with the government’s decision.

The Department of Fisheries organized an awareness seminar to explain the benefits of eating fish to the students. The State Chairman of the Federation of State Fisheries Cooperatives, Pittala Ravinder decided to start this conference from Dubbaka.

The program will be started from Dubbaka where Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was educated. At this conference, the health benefits of fish will be explained to the students. They will also be informed on how to remove the skins and spines from the fish and eat them.

it has been learned that the Federation of State Fisheries Cooperatives will also take up the proposal to provide fish curry in mid-day meals in many educational institutions run by the government. It is expected that this utilization will be beneficial as the fisheries resources of the state increase. before proposing to the government, it was decided to organize an awareness conference as part of the Mana Uru-Manabadi program to educate the students about fish.
