Metro Will Be Connected All Around ORR: CM KCR

Hyderabad, Aug 15 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that the state government has decided to expand the metro to all corners of Hyderabad around Outer Ring Road.  The Chief Minister said that we are aiming to complete these works in the next three to four years.

Addressing the gathering after hoisting the National Flag on Golconda Fort, on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, here today, the Chief Minister said, that the Telangana government has implemented the Strategic Roads Development Plan (SRDP at a cost of Rs. 67,149 crores.  Development of 42 key roads, flyovers, underpasses, and ROBs have been undertaken under SRDP.  Most of these have been completed and are available to the public.  The government has also completed the construction of 22 link roads at a cost of Rs. 275 crores.  The government has decided to expand the metro rail to all four directions of the Hyderabad metropolis in accordance with the growing public transport needs.  For this, it has planned to expand the metro rail to connect Pidarabad from all the junctions around ORR and reach directly to the airport at a cost of more than Rs. 69 thousand crores.   The goal is to complete these structures in four years.  KCR said that the metro facility will be extended to 415 kilometers in Hyderabad with the new proposals.

The Chief Minister said that though there was progress over 75 years, it was not on the expected targets.  He targeted the leadership during the undivided Andhra Pradesh alleging that because of their negligence, Telangana was subject to discrimination.

The Chief Minister talked about the development in the state during the last decade which has been looked at as a surprise by the people of the country.  The Chief Minister listed out various initiatives on agriculture, farmers, welfare schemes to all sections, double-bedroom houses, pensions, and the merger of TSRTC employees into the government.  The Chief Minister assured to give a good PRC to the state government employees. He recalled his promise made in the Assembly.

Quoting a report of NITI Ayog, the Chief Minister said that the poverty in Telangana has decreased with the policies like ‘Increasing wealth and distribute to people’ of the state government.

KCR reminded us that we achieved the state of Telangana in a non-violent and peaceful manner in the spirit of the country’s freedom struggle.  KCR stated that all sectors of Telangana were destroyed during the United Andhra Pradesh rule.  Telangana was subjected to severe discrimination and exploitation because of the behavior of the Telangana leadership of the time by laying tricks on the union leaders.  He said that the dream of self-government has been realized as a result of the long-standing public movement of all the people of Telangana.

KCR said that if you touch the life picture of Telangana 10 years ago, it still hurts your heart.  No matter how you look at it, fields that have collapsed, ponds that have been buried and sprung up, dried-up streams, underground water, dried-up wells, deep bores that do not yield water, incessant power cuts, electric shocks in the middle of the night, snake bites, lives and debts of the farmers.  Trapped in quicksand, hopes are lost KCR said that if the breadwinners, the handloom workers who are dying of hope for survival, hang themselves, the old people will be the rest of the villages, the houses will be locked and the walls will grow grass, the driveways will be covered with barks, the people will die of hunger, they will have to support themselves with porridge centers, KCR  said.  he said that the BRS government, which came to power in the midst of such impossible circumstances, has carried out the reconstruction of Telangana as a sacred act.  Worked tirelessly with honesty, commitment, and continuous intellectual support.  KCR made it clear that he has successfully led the devasted Telangana to the path of development.

TELANGANA PRACTICES – THE COUNTRY FOLLOWS

KCR said that since the government knows the needs and aspirations of the people, it has cleansed all sectors accordingly.  It has achieved irrevocable results within a short period of time.  It has placed the state at the top position in the country in many fields.  With a visionary perspective and transparent policies, it broke new ground in development and welfare.  KCR said that ‘Telangana practices ‘ the country follows” and stood proudly at the beginning of the decade.

KCR said that if you look at the life scene of Telangana today, it is shining with continuous electricity transmission.  The crop is resplendent with canals and green chains.  Even in the scorching sun, the ponds are bubbling, and streams, bends, and check dams built on them are overflowing with water.  Godavari is a constant source of life with the streams of Kaleswaram flowing in and irrigating the lands of Telangana.

Telangana, which was once hungry for a drop of water, is now teeming with more than twenty reservoirs.  with a yield of three crore tonnes of paddy, today Telangana is flourishing as a source of rice for the country.  It spells the golden rule in welfare and development.  Everyone is in awe of Telangana’s unprecedented progress in the past decade.

NO. 1 IN PER CAPITA INCOME AND PER CAPITA POWER CONSUMPTION

KCR said that per capita income and per capita electricity consumption are the dominant indicators used to measure the progress achieved by a country or a state anywhere in the world.  Telangana ranked number 1 in the country in both of these,  After the formation of the Telangana government strengthened the financial situation of the state with strict discipline.  Wealth increased.  Distributed to the people
