Hyderabad, May 18: Srikanth Badiga has been re elected as a Member of the Board of Directors of the World Free Zones Organisation for a second four year term from 2026 to 2030.
The election was held during the Annual General Assembly conducted alongside the 12th World FZO World Congress in Panama City.
The World Congress is considered one of the largest international gatherings focused on free zones, Special Economic Zones, trade, logistics, investment promotion and economic policy.
According to the Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs, Srikanth Badiga was re elected in recognition of his contribution to the global free zones and export ecosystem.
Badiga serves as Group Director of the Hyderabad based Phoenix Group and Chairman of EPCES.
The World Free Zones Organisation is a global non profit body representing free zones, industrial parks, Special Economic Zones and related economic authorities worldwide.
Officials said the re election reflects India’s growing role in the international trade and SEZ ecosystem and highlights increasing global participation by Indian industry leaders in shaping trade and investment policies.
