ECI Directs KCR Govt. To Declare DK Aruna As MLA Of Gadwal

Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 4 (Maxim News): The Election Commission of India (ECI)  has written to the Telangana State Chief Secretary and to the Secretary of Telangana legislative Assembly to declare D.K. Aruna as MLA of Gadwal Assembly Constituency.

In a letter, the ECI forwards a copy of the order of the High Court of Telangana of August 24, thereby allowing the Election Petition No. 4 of 2019, filed by d.K. Aruna@Arundhathi, a contesting candidate from 79-Gadwal Assembly Constituency during General Election to Telangana Legislative Assembly-2018, filed against the returned candidate, Sh. Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy.  The High Court has declared the petition d.K. aruna@Arundhathi as the returned candidate for 79-Gadwal AC with effect from December 12, 2018, and declared the election of Sh. Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, as void.  The said order is being published in the next issue of the Telangana State Gazette. (Maxim News)
