Bomb Threat Call Creates Chaos In Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada, September 05, 2023: Gannavaram Airport in Krishna district received a bomb threat call, leading to immediate action by airport authorities. A concerned bystander alerted officials about a potential bomb on the airport premises.

In response, airport officials halted an Air India flight bound for Delhi and conducted extensive security checks with the assistance of the bomb squad. Access to the airport was restricted during this process. The incident triggered panic among the authorities and passengers.

It was found that the miscreant called from the Tanuku area. Muppalla Ranga Raman was arrested. It was found that he made the fake call. It seems that Rangaraman has threatened many VIPs by calling them in the past.

A week ago, Hyderabad Shamshabad Airport received a bomb threat call. An unidentified man informed the control room that the bomb had been planted at the airport. He made a threatening call saying there was a bomb on the Indigo Airlines flight. Airport security checks were immediately alerted. In the end, it was confirmed that there was no bomb. The passengers breathed a sigh of relief.
