Inter-State Ganja Supply Gang Arrested

Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News):  The Cyberabad police arrested a gang that was supplying ganja.  

According to Madhapur DCP Sandeep Rao, a gang had planned to transport ganja from Andhra Pradesh to Maharashtra via Hyderabad.

Accordingly, they entered the city.  Police checked the car they were traveling in when they reached Kollur ORR on the information of reliable sources.  Later, the cannabis in the car was seized and the accused were arrested.

125 kg of ganja worth Rs. 35 lakh, a car, and two phones were seized from them.  While two accused have been detained, the other two are absconding.  Police said they are trying to nab them.

Karthik Ravi Kiran (24), Kamal Sanjay 923) and Rajabhai from Maharashtra were the partners in the supply of ganja.  They bought ganja from Raja of Vijayanagaram.  Later, he was caught by the police while he was being taken to Maharashtra. (Maxim News)
