Permissions related to assembly elections can be obtained through Suvidha app
Hyderabad, October 13: The process of nominations will start from November 30 following the announcement of the election schedule by the Central Election Commission for the state assembly elections. In this nomination process Suvidha App single window system allows issuing permissions for candidates contesting for assembly seats from recognized and unrecognized registered parties. Suvidha can apply for permits either physically or online. The Election Commission has provided the facility to issue permits for various permits i.e. meetings, rallies, vehicles, temporary election office, loudspeaker, helicopter, helipad at one place easily.
Earlier, they used to go to each office for each permit and get the permits. Thus, during the campaign, the candidate who contests at one place without going to the campaign for the permissions without going around the offices has been given the flexibility to get all kinds of permissions through the Suvidha app. Apart from that, I can take the permission from the RO office at the place where the nominations are made and not far away. In this order, District Election Officer and Commissioner of GHMC started Suvidha counter at GHMC head office immediately after the schedule in Hyderabad district so that there is no trouble for permissions.
Evidium Director Prakash Reddy is acting as the nodal officer of Code of Conduct for Elections. Staff and officers have been arranged in a shift system to work for 24 hours starting from the Vigilance Office in the GHMC Head Office. Moreover, on the occasion of the commencement of nominations, an ASP level officer who is acting as the constituency nodal officer at the RO office will be appointed by the Hyderabad Police Commissioner. Under their leadership, permits are issued transparently without disturbing any peace and security in the constituency.
