Vigilance Awareness Week Inaugurated At BDL

Secunderabad, 30 Oct 2023: Vigilance Awareness Week was inaugurated at Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) today.  

“Say no to Corruption; Commit to the Nation” is the theme for this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week, which is being observed by BDL from 30 Oct to 07 Nov 2023.

The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week at BDL commenced with the “Integrity Pledge” administered by Commodore A. Madhavarao (Retd) Chairman & Managing Director, BDL to employees of the Company located at Kanchanbagh, Bhanur and Visakhapatnam Unit and various Offices.

Shri N Srinivasulu Director (Finance), BDL, Shri PV Raja Ram, Director (Production), Dr. Upender Vennam, IPoS Chief Vigilance Officer, BDL, Commodore Girish Raghunath Pradhan (Retd), Executive Director (Kanchanbagh and Visakhapatnam Unit) and other senior executives of the company participated.

A “Handbook on Reservation Policy” was released by CMD, BDL on the occasion.

 

Messages given by Hon’ble President of India, Vice-President of India and Central Vigilance Commission on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week – 2023 were read out.

During the week-long celebrations, competitions on essay writing, debate, Quiz, slogan writing and poster making will be held for employees of the Company, their spouses & school and college students to spread vigilance awareness.

A Vendor  Meet is being organized at BDL, Kanchanbagh Unit during the week to spread awareness among vendors of the Company.

To spread vigilance awareness among all the strata of the society, a walkathon is being organized during the week.

Workshops/Sensitization programmes for employees on Complaint Policy of CVC, provisions of Standing Orders & Preventive Vigilance Measures, PIDPI (Public Interest Disclosure & Protection of Informers) resolution etc have been planned.
