Nabbed Two Inter-State Drug Peddlers: Seized 1464 Nitravet Tablets

Hyderabad, Nov 11 (Maxim News): The sleuths of TSNAB along with Afzalgunj Police, apprehended (2) notorious Interstate drug transporters, Birju Upadhay, 42 years, running Liquor Belt shop, and Kishan Vittal Rao Kamble 39 years, Associate of Birju Upadhyay in supplying of Nitravet Tablets both residents of Bidar in Karnataka state was found in possession of the narcotic drug in the limits of Afzalgunj Police Station, Hyderabad and seized Nitravet Tablets 1464,  Mobile Phones all worth Rs. 30,000/- from their possession.

The accused Birju Upadhay hails from Bidar District, Karnataka State, and was involved in (13) criminal cases a rowdy sheet is being maintained at Merketa Police station, Bidar, Karnataka. For the last 14 years, he along with his family members has been supplying the Nitravet Tablets to various peddlers in Hyderabad, Bidar, and Gulbarga with the help of his associate Kishan Vittal Rao Kamble. He used to procure the Nitravet tablets (Psychotropic drug) illegally from a known person by the name of Suprith Navale Native of Gulbarga, Karnataka State for Rs.2,000/- each box containing 300 tablets and supplying the same to the drug peddlers at Hyderabad for Rs.5,500/- and earning money illegally.

He along with his two wives, son Aravind and his mother-in-law Ranu Bai used to transport the drug-containing tablets to Hyderabad. He supplies the said drug to his relatives i.e., Raju and Pallavi W/o Chakradari who are residing in Manger Basthi, Habeebnagar, Hyderabad, and earning easy money. He also lured accused Kishan Vittal Rao Kamble, r/o Bidar for easy earnings, through the supply of Nitravet Tablets. Some of Birju’s relatives in Mangar Basthi, Habeebnagar, and Hyderabad are also indulging in the supply of Nitravet (Psychotropic drug) tablets for easy earning. (Maxim News)
