Telangana Polls: WPI Extends Support to Congress In 48 Seats

Telangana Polls | Hyderabad, Nov 23 (Maxim News): The Welfare Party of India (WPI) has decided to support in the coming assembly elections in 51 constituencies out of which it has decided to support 48 candidates of Congress, one each to BSP, CPI-M and Independent.  

Releasing the list of its support to the candidates at a press conference, the State President of WPI Syed Kamal Ather, General Secretary Mohd Waseem, Advocate and Mohd Jalaluddin, members, and others, today, said that WPI has finalized the party support after consultation with the party cadre and sympathizers and survey.

The WPI will be extending its support to 48 Congress candidates in the constituencies are Nizamabad Urban, Asifabad, Amoor, Banswada, Khairatabad, Bhadrachalam, Huzurnagar, Huzurabad, Devarkonda, Ibrahimpatnam, Sangareddy, Jubilee Hills, Khanapur, Khammam, Nagarjuna Sagar, Kukatpally, Mahbubnagar, Munugode, Miryalguda, Musheerabad, Nalgonda, Pargi, Patancheru, Ramagundam, Kodangal, Kalwakurthy, Shadnagar, Secunderabad cantonment, Suryapet, Khanapur, Tandur, Warangal East, Warangal West, Achampet, Jangaon, Wanaparthy, Gadwal, Mukthal, Vikarabad, Zaheerabad, Devarkadra, Alair, Ghanpur Station, Mahbubabad, Malkajgiri, Manchriyal, Medak and Maheshwaram.   

It has also been decided to extend support one candidate of BSP, CPI (M) and independent at Sirpur, Kothagudem and Kollapur (Shireesha) respectively. (Maxim News)
