With these seats now empty, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the Election Department are working hand-in-hand to draft a letter requesting the State Election Commission’s approval to conduct the polls.

These by-elections, expected sometime soon, carry significant weight. They could potentially shift the political landscape of the city, making them crucial for both established parties and rising contenders.

The GHMC, along with the Election Department, is committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent electoral process once the green light is granted. (Maxim News)
