Uttam Introduced Resolution On Issues Related To Krishna River Projects And KRMB

Hyderabad, Feb 12 (Maxim News): The State government led by the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has introduced a resolution on issues related to Krishna River projects and Krishna River Management Board (KRMB). Earlier, it released a note titled ‘Facts on Krishna projects – Mistakes of the BRS government.

It accused the government of failing to protect the interests of the state.  It has been said that the wrong policies of KCR‘s regime have now cursed Telangana. It is clear that there is no intention of handing over the projects on Krishna river to KRMB.

Later, State Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, who introduced the resolution in the House, gave a Power Point Presentation (PPT). They said that they will work sincerely to stop the water exploitation that happened with the previous government’s decisions.

On election day, Andhra Pradesh government sent police to Nagarjunasagar. 3 time of water per day was diverted illegally. Under no circumstances will projects be handed over to KRMB without agreeing to the conditions. “Some people are talking to mislead the people of the state,” the Minister alleged.  (Maxim News)
